We began by focusing on semiconductors, solving urgent problems when supply was scarce. That led to a reputation as the “hard-to-find part gurus,” able to track down components across borders and industries. From there, we invested in becoming a stocking distributor, holding inventory to support customers directly. Today, we extend even further, providing PPAP support and documentation that gives customers the quality and traceability they demand.

Along the way, we’ve sourced from and worked with countless countries - building relationships across global supply chains, navigating cultural and logistical barriers, and finding ways to deliver when others couldn’t.

What makes Summon work is the people behind it. John, originally from Bangor, Pennsylvania and now in Orlando, thrives on systems thinking and momentum - building flow from constraints. Salik, from Karachi, Pakistan, grounds the vision with precision, structure, and follow-through. Together they’ve led Summon through multiple stages of growth, employing and contracting hundreds of people and suppliers along the way, each contributing to the company’s story.
